To eliminate any confusion and to ensure everyone is fully prepared we have listed all of the required documents and additional information we believe is important to know before making a booking.
The difference between confidential and public is exactly what it sounds like, if you receieve a public marriage license your marriage record will be available for anyone to look up. With confidential, only the couple, us and the state of CA has record off the marriage.
We are unable to issue marriage licenses to minors
This means non-expired and can include drivers license, ID card, Passport, etc..
When filling out the marriage license application the couple must enter a shared address they both currently live at.
We will need proof of dissolution, annulment, or death record. If either party has been married in the past they will need to know the date the previous marriage ended.
This includes first, middle and last. The couple will need to know their parents names as written on their birth certificates
